We are in Tahoe for Thanksgiving week and decided last minute to book a four hour fishing charter for 8 of us (4 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids). We are SO glad we found Nor-Cal Charters as we had such an amazing trip! Andrew and Tim were incredible guides with great personalities. The fishing was good and they were so attentive and patient with our 7-year-old. The boat was very nice, spacious and clean. A great experience fishing on Lake Tahoe! Captain Andrew took us to where the fish were biting and we all caught fish immediately – two of us had never fished and Andrew explained everything perfectly. Andrew is very skilled, knows how to run a boat very well, and taught us how to bait a hook, watch for line bites, reel in a fish, and net it. Thank you, Captain Andrew, for a fun and memorable morning of catching salmon! We grilled some of them up that night! Delicious!

Andrew did a fantastic job of taking both experienced and inexperienced fishers on a fruitful charter. Went out with captain Andrew for the second time. The trip was amazing, as expected. He put my dad and I pn 6 nice size mackinaw! He actually put us on more, but that’s what we took home. Always recommend nor cal charters and captain Andrew. The boat is nice and big also, and has an i side cabin area and restroom.

If you’re looking for a charter out of Lake Tahoe, look no further. Went out with Captain Andrew on the Professor and it was a great time. The Captain is very knowledgeable and knows the lake very well. We limited out on salmon and tried for other species. He was great with the youngsters and I would highly recommend this charter. I’ve gone out with multiple other charters here in the past, but we thoroughly enjoyed this trip out. Book this!

Nor-Cal Charters currently maintains several high performance-fishing vessels for the purpose of creating the ultimate fishing charter experience. Our boats are equipped with large bait tanks and all the gear necessary to troll, jig, drift or mooch depending on what is producing the most fish at that time.
